How it Works:

Each night of the Rodeo, 25 participants will attempt to catch one of 12 calves. The participant has to catch the calf and get the calf in the designated area in an allotted time period. Those who catch one of the calves can chose between a heifer, lamb or swine project. The animals are raised throughout the year and shown at the next Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo Livestock Show. There are approximately 225 scramble participants during the nine days of the Fair & Rodeo.
