The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo parade will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Waco. The parade marks the opening of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo which will be held October 4-13, 2012.

This is one of Waco’s largest parades. It will begin at Martin Luther King Blvd. and Franklin Avenue traveling down Franklin Avenue to 9th Street. See map for complete route.

If you’d like to participate in the parade, you can obtain registration, rules and release forms online at hotfair.com. Only the first 100 entries will be accepted. All release forms must be submitted to the Fair office on or before Friday, September 21st at 5:00 p.m. Onsite registration will not be accepted. The goal of the Extraco Events Center, home of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo, is to educate through entertainment and agricultural experiences as well as to become the center of entertainment in Central Texas. Held at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, TX, the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo is held annually with over 203,000 in attendance in 2011.
