What are the dates of the 2018 Heart O' Texas Fair?

The 2018 Heart O' Texas Fair will be held October 4 - 13, 2018.

Where is the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo?

The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo takes place at the Extraco Events Center, which is located at 4601 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX, 76710.

What are the hours of the Heart O' Texas Fair?

Thursday, October 4: Open from 6 - 11 p.m.
Friday, October 5: Open from 4 p.m. - Midnight
Saturday, October 6: Open from Noon - Midnight
Sunday, October 7: Open from Noon - 11 p.m.
Monday, October 8 : Open from 2 - 11 p.m.
Tuesday, October 9: Open from 4 - 11 p.m.
Wednesday, October 10: Open from 4 - 11 p.m.
Thursday, October 11: Open from 4 - 11 p.m.
Friday, October 12: Open from 4 p.m. - Midnight

How can I purchase a gate admission ticket?

Gate admission tickets can be purchased at the Extraco Events Center Box Office before October 3, online at hotfair.com before and during the event or at the ticket booths at the entrances of the grounds during the event.

How much is gate admission?

Gate admission is $10 in advance (before October 4, 2018). Starting on October 4, 2018, gate admission is $15. Children under 8 get in free.

What is included in gate admission?

Gate admission includes attractions like Swifty Swine Pig Races, Stunt Dogs and RoboCars, areas like the Extraco Banks Kids Zone and H-E-Buddy Barnyard, all entertainment on the Bud Light Music Stage and Hometown Stage, All American ProRodeo Finals, presented by Pendleton Whisky, (excluding Oct. 6 and 13) and much more!

What items are NOT allowed in the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo?

• Weapons (guns, etc.)
• Sharp metal objects (large knives, swords, scissors and the like with blades over 5.5 inches)
• Liquids (except baby formula or those items deemed necessary by security at the gate)
• Alcohol

Does the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo have ATM machines?

Yes, there are ATM machines located around the Extraco Events Center.

What is Magic Money?

Magic Money is an electronic token system held on a wristband, using an RFID chip. They are reusable and reloadable. You can reload your band using the Magic Money app, Magic Money kiosks or Magic Money stations located throughout the fairgrounds.

What is Sneak-A-Peek Night?

Sneak-A-Peek Night gives everyone a chance to get a look at what is going on at the Fair this year, before the gates open! Admission is only $5 for ages 9 and older. Carnival rides are ONLY $2 each. Sneak-A-Peek Night is presented by Metro PCS and coupons for FREE admission on October 4 can ONLY be picked up at local Metro PCS stores.

When is Sneak-A-Peek?

Sneak-A-Peek Night, presented by Metro PCS, will be held on Thursday, October 4. Gates will open at 6 p.m and close at 11 p.m.

All American ProRodeo Finals

When is the All American ProRodeo Finals?

The 2018 All American ProRodeo Finals, presented by Pendleton Whisky, begins on Saturday, October 6 and ends on Saturday, October 13. There will be no Rodeo performance on Monday, October 8.

What time does the Rodeo start?

The All American ProRodeo Finals, presented by Pendleton Whisky, begins at 7 p.m. nightly.

How long does the Rodeo last?

Each Rodeo performance lasts around two hours.

Do I have to purchase a separate ticket to go to the Rodeo?

General admission balcony seating is included in the price of gate admission except for Saturdays, Oct. 6 and 13.

For seating on October 6 and 13, Reserved Balcony and Mezzanine Seating is $20 and Reserved Box Seating is $30. This includes gate admission.

I have box seats to the Rodeo, does that include my gate admission?

Yes, if you purchased box seats to the Rodeo then it will include your gate admission into the Fair.

If I sit in the balcony of the Extraco Coliseum, are my tickets reserved?

All seats are reserved on the first and last Saturday Rodeo performances. Tickets are $20 each for Reserved Balcony and Mezzanine Seating and $30 for Reserved Box Seating.

Performances on October 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 are general admission in the balcony of the Extraco Coliseum (no reserved seating) and admission to the Rodeo is included with general admission to the Fair.

I have tickets at Will Call, how do I get them?

When you get to the gate entrance, tell the person at the ticket booth that you have tickets at Will Call and they will bring them to you.

What is a Fun Pass?

A Fun Pass is a pass that gets you general admission to the Fair once a day and unlimited rides with a Carnival armband every day of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo.

Where can I buy a Fun Pass?

Fun passes can be purchased from participating CEFCO Convenience Stores or the Extraco Events Center Box Office for $65.
