Scholarship Program

Last year, the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo awarded $155,000 in scholarships to 43 Texas students in 2020 during a special Facebook Live Announcement, underwritten by Alliance Bank Central Texas.

Due to COVID-19, the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo was unable to host the students and their families at the annual Scholar Recognition Banquet; however, the organization was able to recognize them with a Facebook Live announcement on Tuesday, May 19 th. Students receiving scholarships represented the following schools: Aquilla, Bowie, Chapel Hill, China Spring, Clifton, Columbus, Connally, Cranfills Gap, Eagle Christian Homeschool Academy, Gatesville, Gholson, Hubbard, Mart, McGregor, Normangee, Robinson, Rogers, Salado, TSTC, Texas Tech, White Horse Christian Academy and Vanguard College Preparatory School.

These scholarships are part of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo’s annual commitment of providing scholarships to the youth of Central Texas which is made possible thanks to our sponsors and volunteers. Each year, our volunteers spend countless hours raising money through various fundraisers to contribute to this fund. Since its beginning, the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo has committed more than $3.25 million to the youth of Texas.
