Petting Zoo

The petting zoo consists of deer, antelope, wallabies, llamas, sheep, camels and more! All animals are hand-raised and love interactions with people. Food will be available to purchase to feed some of the animals, and hand sanitizing stations are provided for when you exit the Petting Zoo.

FACE PAINTING WITH THE SWEETHEARTS

Meet the Heart O' Texas Sweethearts at their face painting booth to have your face painted and play fun games!

HOMETOWN STAGE

The Hometown Stage presented by First Methodist Waco showcases a variety of local entertainment including dance and cheer groups, and other performers for eight nights during the 2024 Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo. Kids' Pedal Tractor Pull

A unique experience designed for kids ages 4 – 12. Kids will climb aboard a “kid’s sized” tractor with bicycle-like pedals. Each tractor will have a trailer behind it hauling a “full load.” Kids will have to pedal as hard as they can to pull the load to the end of the finish line! Prizes for all participants. Birthing Center

The nursery and birthing center is a ‘must see’ educational exhibit at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo. Each day, stop by and check out a collection of different breeds of livestock and, if you have good timing, the miracle of birth itself!

Pony Rides

Who doesn't love Pony Rides?! This is definitely a kid favorite - just $5 per ride!

Play with Giants - Ag Addition

Sea Lion Splash

Doorways to Ag - presented by Texas Farm Bureau

Texas Farm Bureau’s Doorways to Ag is a brand-new display that opens the door to a whole new world through an interactive agricultural exhibit for all ages. Folks can see and learn how a little bit of agriculture is in almost everything you use.

Wine & Beer Garden

The Wine and Beer Garden presented by Shooter FM is open during Fair Hours to enjoy a nice beverage inside the Glassed in Room in the Show Pavilion. The Wine and Beer Garden will also feature Acoustic Act Musicians on select evenings! Stop by and catch a show while enjoying a variety of Texas Wines and Craft Beer!
