Petting Zoo

The petting zoo consists of deer, antelope, wallabies, llamas, sheep, camels and more! All animals are hand-raised and love interactions with people. Food will be available to purchase to feed some of the animals, and hand sanitizing stations are provided for when you exit the Petting Zoo. Included with fair admission.

Birthing Center

The nursery and birthing center is a ‘must see’ educational exhibit at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo. Each day, stop by and check out a collection of different breeds of livestock and, if you have good timing, the miracle of birth itself! Included with fair admission.

Pony Rides

Who doesn't love Pony Rides?! This is definitely a kid favorite - just $5 per ride!

KIDSTRUCTION LAND

The exhibit lets kids and heavy machinery enthusiasts of all ages get their hands dirty operating scale models of real construction equipment. Kids operate realistic, remote-controlled excavation units using joysticks to scoop up dirt. Typically costs $10 for 8 minutes of play or $20 for 20 minutes.

RODEO 101

Rodeo 101 Stage Show is a free, interactive attraction that brings the traditions of farm, ranch, and rodeo life to life for all ages. Guests can watch live blacksmithing demonstrations, learn how to make a duck call, see ice cream made with a historic 1917 engine, and explore hands-on agricultural activities like corn shucking and grain processing. Kids can enjoy stick-horse rodeo fun and vintage toys while discovering the heritage and skills that helped shape the American West. Included with fair admission.

JURASSIC BARK

Jurassic Bark Live! is a high-energy, one-of-a-kind family show that combines incredible dog tricks, comedy, and larger-than-life characters in a prehistoric adventure. Featuring a cast of talented rescue dogs, the show delivers nonstop action, laughs, and heart—captivating audiences of all ages. With its unique blend of storytelling and jaw-dropping stunts, Jurassic Bark Live! has quickly become a must-see attraction at fairs, theaters, and major events across the country. Nerveless Nocks Daredevils and Wheel Thrill Show

The Nerveless Nocks are descendants of the Swiss Circus Family Nock and are among the most respected aerial stunt artists in the world today. Since 1954, The Nerveless Nocks have been thrilling audiences across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and world-wide. Featuring a hand-over-hand climb to the top of a breathtaking aerial exchange from pole to pole and an unbelievable headfirst free-fall back to the ground (1-8 poles). A thin-stretched steel cable is the aerial highway for the Sky kings as they balance a motorcycle with a trapeze attached underneath. This act is packed with death-defying aerial maneuvers! One to three motorcycle stunt riders race at high speeds narrowly missing each other as they race upside down. A spectacular daredevil show! Included with fair admission.

HOMETOWN STAGE

The Hometown Stage showcases a variety of local entertainment including dance and cheer groups, and other performers for eight nights during the 2026 Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo. Doorways to Ag - presented by Texas Farm Bureau

Texas Farm Bureau’s Doorways to Ag is a brand-new display that opens the door to a whole new world through an interactive agricultural exhibit for all ages. Folks can see and learn how a little bit of agriculture is in almost everything you use. Included with fair admission.

Wine & Beer Garden

The Wine and Beer Garden presented by Shooter FM is open during Fair Hours to enjoy a nice beverage inside the Glassed in Room in the Show Pavilion. The Wine and Beer Garden will also feature Acoustic Act Musicians on select evenings! Stop by and catch a show while enjoying a variety of Texas Wines and Craft Beer!
