Waco, TX (August 16, 2013) – It’s time for young cowboys and cowgirls to sign up for the Mutton Bustin’ Rally, presented by Cotton Patch Cafe, to be held during the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo! This crowd favorite rodeo event will be held October 4-12, 2013, and the format gives children the opportunity to ride three times.
The Fair has devoted an entire area to this increasingly popular and entertaining competitive event. There will be two Mutton Bustin’ performances per day from October 4 – 9 in the Mutton Bustin’ Rally located in the Kids Zone tent outside. The top five scores from each performance will return two days later to ride in the semi-finals during the All American ProRodeo Finals inside the Extraco Coliseum. The first and second place winners from each semi-finals round will advance to ride on Saturday, October 12, in the Mutton Bustin’ Championships, presented by Wells Fargo, during the rodeo.
Registration begins on Wednesday, September 4, at the Wells Fargo Bank in Downtown Waco.
