Conjunto Rio Grande

Conjunto Río Grande is a Norteño group formed in 1974 in San Lorenzo, Río Grande, Zacatecas, México. They were first called "Salvajes del Norte", and some time after that Los Tremendos Salvajes, recording 10 albums under that name. In 1996 they changed their name once more for legal reasons to "Conjunto Río Grande", which came about after a radio-contest in their native town.
