HEART O’ TEXAS FAIR & RODEO
INTRODUCES THE MUSIC ZONE

– The 2013 Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo presented by HEB proudly introduces
the all new Music Zone which will be home to the Bud Light Music Stage. This year’s fair runs from Thursday, October
3 through Saturday, October 12.
Music Zone will offer fans six nights of heart pounding entertainment in an
outdoor setting which will feature “Music Zone Girls,” drink specials, contests
and giveaways!! For those that show up
early, they’ll receive a gift every night to include t-shirts, hats, ear buds,
key chains, beach balls and retro glasses. Contests for this area include the Justin Boots Ring Toss, Allen Samuels
Paper Plane Contest, Dance-off and more. The Music Zone opens at 7 p.m. on concert nights and the music gets
underway around 8 p.m. during the week and 8:30 p.m. on weekends.
2013 entertainment lineup will be bigger than ever in the Music Zone, which
will require a separate ticket purchase. Both in 2011 and 2012, surveyed
fairgoers said they would pay for an additional ticket for a major singer or
band. As a result, the Fair made the
decision to spend more on entertainment and bring in more well-known
