Waco, TX (July 25, 2012) – The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo will launch a new concert series for the first three nights of the fair and rodeo which will be a ticketed concert inside the Extraco Coliseum.

Pop groups Hot Chelle Rae and Breathe Carolina will perform on October 4th, The Beach Boys will perform on October 5th and Christian Contemporary groups MercyMe and The Digital Age will perform on October 6th.

“The HOT Concert Series gives regular fairgoers an additional reason to attend more than once a year,” said Wes Allison, President and CEO of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo.

The goal of the Extraco Events Center, home of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo, is to educate through entertainment and agricultural experiences as well as to become the center of entertainment in Central Texas. Held at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, TX, the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo is held annually with over 203,000 in attendance in 2011.
