REGISTRATION DATE SET FOR 2012 MUTTON BUSTIN’ AT THE HEART O' TEXAS FAIR & RODEO
New Format Gives Children 3 Chances to Ride
Waco, TX – It’s time for young cowboys and cowgirls to sign up to participate in the Mutton Bustin’ event to be held during the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo! This crowd favorite rodeo event will be held October 5-13, 2012 and the format has changed to give children the opportunity to ride 3 times.
There will be an entire area devoted to this increasingly popular and entertaining competitive event. From October 5 – October 10 there will be 2 Mutton Bustin’ performances per day in the Capstone Kids Zone tent outside. The top 5 scores from each performance will return 2 days later to ride in the Semi-Finals during the All American ProRodeo Finals inside the Extraco Coliseum. The first and second place winners from each Semi-Finals round will advance to ride on Saturday, October 13th in the Mutton Bustin’ Championships presented by Wells Fargo, during the rodeo.
Registration will be held at the Wells Fargo Bank in Downtown Waco.

Registration Time: 8:00-10:00 a.m. (after 10:00 a.m., registration can be made at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo office)
Registration Fee: $20 per child
All entries must be made in person. For more information, contact Melinda Moss at email@example.com or by calling her at 254-776-1660. Children must be between the ages of 4 and 7 years old and weigh 45 pounds or less the day they ride. Helmets and vests will be provided and must be worn.
The goal of the Extraco Events Center, home of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo, is to educate through entertainment and agricultural experiences as well as to become the center of entertainment in Central Texas. Held at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, TX, the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo is held annually with over 203,000 in attendance in 2011.
