Executive Department

 
Wes Allison - President/Chief Executive Officer
Wes leads the staff of the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo, pushing everyone at every chance to achieving success with every event held from the Parade to the All American ProRodeo Finals. It is through his vision that we are able to create such an event for the community. 
 
Melinda Moss - Executive Assistant/Office Manager
Melinda works closely with all our media partners to ensure that Central Texas knows that the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo is coming to town! She also plays a key role in ensuring that the Rodeo Committee is on the right track to another great set of performances. 
 
Charva Ingram, Division Manager, Marketing & Public Relations
Charva spearheads the annual marketing campaign for the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo overseeing all aspects of strategic development and implementation including budget, creative, media, public relations activities, website and social media.  She also handles all things marketing for the Extraco Events Center.

Fair Division

Jarrod Metzgar, Vice President, Fair Division
When it comes to the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo, Jarrod does a little bit of everything from booking attractions to overseeing the layout of the grounds, not to mention, ensuring that everyone has a great time while they are here. 
 
Christy Jones, Director, Fair Events
Christy works with the Fair Department to create a memorable experience for all those who visit our grounds during the 10 days of the Fair.  She also works very closely with the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo's over 500 volunteers and 23 committees - after all they are the ones who make this event successful year after year!

Sponsorship Development

Devin Mejia, Senior Division Manager
Devin works with our over 100 local and national partners year round, keeping their products and brands in the eyes of Central Texans! With Devin's help you can make a difference in the community through scholarships to area youth! 

Ashley Whatley, Sponsorship Administrative Assistant
Assists the Sponsorship Department in all aspects from proposals to fulfillments and everything in between.

Operations Department

JD Ewing, Vice President/Chief Operations Officer
You have probably seen JD at one point or another during the Fair & Rodeo and not even known it! JD manages all aspects of operations when it comes to Central Texas' largest event and can be found before the gates open till after they close making sure everything is running smoothly. 
 
David Smith, Director, Extraco Show Pavilion
David and his crew do a fabulous job of keeping the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo grounds looking great! From set up to tear down David is out making sure that everything from tables and chairs to backdrops and panels are just where they need to be.
 
Vicki Hobbs, Manager, Special Events and Commercial Exhibits
Ever had an awesome corn dog, purchased a great pair of boots or enjoyed some great local entertainment during the Fair & Rodeo? If you have then you can thank Vicki! Vicki is in charge of all of our commercial exhibits and the HOT Spot Stage line-up during the Fair & Rodeo. Vicki also ensures that the Heart O' Texas Livestock Show is one of the best around along with other competitive events like Academic Rodeo and Creative Arts. 
 
Kathy Tatum, Manager, Ticket Operations
If tickets are what you are looking for then Kathy is your lady! Kathy manages all areas of the ticket office both at the main box office in the Extraco Coliseum and those at the entrance gates. 

Accounting Department

Rob Carr, Chief Financial Officer/Controller
Rob is all about the money! He manages all of the financial components of the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo and ensures that we give the most scholarship dollars to area youth!
